About us
Potholewala was born from a simple observation—despite repeated repairs, potholes continued to damage vehicles, waste public resources, and compromise road safety. Motivated by personal experience, we began our research journey in 2014 to understand why conventional pothole repairs fail.
Our work went far beyond machine development. We conducted extensive civil engineering research on pavement materials, asphalt recycling, and Indian road conditions. Through years of testing, we developed indigenous RAP (Reclaimed Asphalt Pavement) technologies and successfully validated mixes containing up to 100% recycled asphalt.
Learning from the limitations of imported road repair equipment, we designed solutions specifically for Indian roads, climate, and operational challenges. This led to the founding of Progenius Pavement Solution Pvt. Ltd. in 2021 and the development of patented technologies, including the ProRMV2000 Infrared Pothole Repair Machine and Asphalt Genius Hot Box.
Today, Progenius is a National Award-Winning Startup recognized for its innovation in sustainable road maintenance. Our mission is to transform road maintenance through advanced engineering, asphalt recycling, and durable, cost-effective repair solutions, helping build a pothole-free India.
